The Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing is pleased to announce our new website, http://drl.wi.gov. The new website provides consumers and the 314,000 professionals who are licensed through the department with easier access to information about the regulatory activities of the Department and licensing boards 24 hours a day.
DRL worked with the Department of Administration - Division of Enterprise Technology, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Health and Family Services to produce the new website. This collaborative effort follows the Governor's goal of state agencies working together to find efficiencies that make it easier for consumers to interact with state government and help state government save money in the process.
The website serves as the primary vehicle to obtain a license application, get a complaint form, or monitor discipline decisions by the licensing boards or the department.
The website also provides links to other state agencies and various professional associations. Other information that can be obtained from the new website includes: schedules of board meetings and hearings, board meeting minutes, newsletters, a schedule of events and activities updated daily, license application status, consumer information, and listings of education and exam providers. Credential holders are now able to change their address information on-line - a service that has been requested by licensees for many years.
I invite you to browse our new site at http://drl.wi.gov. If you have suggestions about how to improve our website, please email me at email@example.com.
